On being cute

Here's Gaby, smiling after taking a morning nap. She wakes up really early, plays for a while, is given a bath and is ready to sleep again. After that, she wakes up all recharged and ready for more play time. :) She just loves playing with us. She's not so interested in watching TV, even Baby Einstein... which is actually a good thing because we don't want her to be hooked on TV. Isn't she just so cute? or am I just saying that because I'm her mom. It doesn't really matter because I actually am her #1 fan! LOL.
I did a not so good extraction on this LO. I had a difficult time extracting the part which was Gaby's hair since her hair were all standing on its end haha.

Roll over, baby!

Here's one of the first few layouts that I did. But I got the inspiration from another layout that I saw in a gallery here. Gaby here is almost 5 months old and loves to roll over and then go back to lying on her back. She does that over and over once she learned how to do it. It's so cute and funny when she's doing it.
Again, thanks to Joni for taking this wonderful picture of Gaby.

My little cub

Wow, I'm excited to post this layout. I really love the way it came out and this is the first time for me to do an out of bounds effect on a photo. Cool huh?

Papa & Mama Bear

Once upon a time, there were two little bears...named Marvin and Nildy haha. No, am not posting about fairytales here. Anyways, here's another layout that I did... this time for my younger brother (I'm the eldest of three siblings and the only girl), Marvin and his GF Nildy. Sorry for posting the other picture, which you don't like that much hehe. Thanks to Joni for taking these pictures during Gaby's christening.

Chocolates and strawberries

Here's a layout that I did for my youngest brother Trac and his GF Minette. I just love the effect of combining brown and pink. It looks yummy actually. Reminds me of chocolates and strawberries. Stawberry flavored chocolates, one of my favorites. Well, anyways, to Trac and Minetski, belated happy 2nd year anniversary! Keep the love growing! :)

Faces

This is a layout I made of Gaby's pictures. I have lots of pictures of her, me being a first time mommy and all, and so I had a hard time choosing which ones to put in my layout. And so, I ended up putting several of her pictures all in one layout. Most pictures here were taken when she was about 4 months old. She is just soooo cute! It was also my first time to add journaling to a layout. I didn't know what to write at first and so I just tried to let it come to me hehe, but I do have to say that I'm speaking here from the heart. *grins*

Gaby and Lola

This is a layout of Gaby and her lola (my mom). You should see how my mom dotes on her one and only grand daughter. Does Gaby look like her lola? I beg to differ hehe, but my mom would say otherwise. I'd say Gaby looks more like her mom (me!). The first photo (upper) was taken at Joni and Joanne's wedding while the other one (lower) was taken during Gaby's Christening, both last April 2007.

My first ever digiscrapping layout

This is my first ever attempt at scrapbooking. I am new to the digiscrapping world as well as to the program, Adobe PSCS3 that I am using so I definitely still have loads to learn.

This layout is of Gaby, immediately after I gave birth and some pictures of her while she was still in the NICU. She was so small back then and looked so fragile!
