Gaby's First Christmas

Okay, so I'm still in the holiday mood. I have some free time on hand so I've been scrapping silly mostly our Christmas pictures as well some layouts as gifts to loved ones. Here's another layout of Gaby for Christmas. Thanks to Ninong Joni for taking these wonderful pictures of Gaby! :)

And the winner is...ME!

Wow, I couldn't believe it... this layout of mine was chosen as the Daily Garden Pick winner for the month of October (I think!) over at TSG! wooohooo! and I got a $6 certificate as my prize! :P
Of course I would like to thank my DD for being my sole inspiration in making this beautiful layout LOL! :)
I've already posted this layout here in my blog several weeks ago and as I've said, I used the kit Kat's Meow for this which can be found HERE.

Thank God for Family

Here's a layout of me and my family. This photo was taken last New Year 2007. I used Kat's Give Thanks Kit which is available at the ScrappingGarden. I think that this kit is very appropriate for this layout! :) It also has a beautiful frame pack that I was not able to use for my layout... but it's definitely worth checking out... see it HERE.

Another CT?

Yes, you read that right... I'm on another great new Creative Team. This time, I am on a fellow Pinay's (LorieM Designs) CT who's been a good friend that I've met since I started digiscrapping. I do love working with her designs and practically volunteered myself when she put out a CT call haha. You can see all her designs HERE in Scrappin Digi Kreations (SDK) and you can also go visit her BLOG as she usually has freebie minikits posted there.

Here's a layout that I did using her latest kit called A Little Romance. It's done using our pre-nup photos taken last April 2006 at La Mesa Ecopark. Thanks to Gel Motilla, our wedding photographer, for taking our beautiful pictures. :)

My challenge layouts for TSG

I'm sharing two layouts today that I've done using pictures showing mother nature... one taken during our Boracay trip last June, showing the beautiful white sand beach... and the other taken during our pre-nuptial shoot last year by our wedding photographer and it was shot while hubby and I were on a boat at the La Mesa Ecopark. I used Kat's Lucky Dog series for both layouts...yes, I used a dog kit on a very non-dog related subject. The colors of the kit actually go well with my layouts, at least I think so. :) You can see for yourself and I'd appreciate any comments... thanks!

Like I said, I used Kat's Lucky Dog Series... It's a huge kit. Here are some previews of it... and you can get it HERE.

Also, don't forget to drop by Kat's blog to download her latest freebies!

Here is Gaby during one of our visits to the mall. Her Lola was trying on some faux crowns on her and look at that face! I don't know if she's surprised or angry or what LOL. But she just looks so adorable! I just had to capture the moment! :)

Truly Fruity and another Freebie

These pictures were taken during Gaby's Ninang Joanne's birthday celebration at their home. We had a great time even though Gaby cried a lot since she now has stranger anxiety and cries when she's with unfamiliar people. Thanks to Joni for these pics!

I got RAK'd

Wow, I am so excited! I got my very first RAK since I started digiscrapping and it came so unexpectedly. You see I mentioned in my previous post that I have recently been scrapping bragbook layouts and guess what... Monique RAK'd me with not one, but three bragbook album quickpage sets of hers! Isn't that just pure kindness or what? :) This really made my day! I can't wait to start using her designs. But wait, you haven't heard the best part yet.. she's also willing to share it with the readers of my blog (but only UNTIL the 21st of October)... so what are you waiting for? Hurry and go grab it now! and oh, don't forget to leave her some love ok? You might also want to check out her blog. :)

Again, thanks so much Monique! :)

Grab it HERE. LINK EXPIRED!

Here's one bragbook layout that I did using Monique's quickpages. The QP's are adorable and perfect to be used for scrapping my baby's pictures. If you download her albums, please don't forget to let her know you appreciate her designs and her kindness! :)

Sweet Memory

Yey! Despite of my busy schedule, I was able to scrap this bragbook layout. Although I did doze off for quite a few times in front of the monitor while doing this, thank God it came out all ok. :) Also, I discovered that its so much easier to scrap and make bragbook layouts since its smaller. It's also a lot cheaper to have printed so I can make lots of albums. The only thing that hinders me is that I don't have much free time now. :( Oh well... but that won't stop me from trying. If I have to scrap while on 24-hour duty at the hospital, then I will. Just kidding. :P

Cool Girl

Just a quick post. I will be very busy during the next couple of weeks *sob* and thus most likely, will not be able to post nor scrap at all. This makes me sad because scrapping is a very good outlet for my creative energies (meaning, it's an addiction that occupies my freetime when Gaby is asleep). So, I just wanted to post the last LO that I did. Here is Gaby, being cool and wearing her sunglasses. It's funny because she doesn't even try to remove them when she's wearing it. It seems that she is enjoying having it on. :)
That would be all for now, until my next post... and until my next LO.

On being cute

Here's Gaby, smiling after taking a morning nap. She wakes up really early, plays for a while, is given a bath and is ready to sleep again. After that, she wakes up all recharged and ready for more play time. :) She just loves playing with us. She's not so interested in watching TV, even Baby Einstein... which is actually a good thing because we don't want her to be hooked on TV. Isn't she just so cute? or am I just saying that because I'm her mom. It doesn't really matter because I actually am her #1 fan! LOL.
I did a not so good extraction on this LO. I had a difficult time extracting the part which was Gaby's hair since her hair were all standing on its end haha.

Roll over, baby!

Here's one of the first few layouts that I did. But I got the inspiration from another layout that I saw in a gallery here. Gaby here is almost 5 months old and loves to roll over and then go back to lying on her back. She does that over and over once she learned how to do it. It's so cute and funny when she's doing it.
Again, thanks to Joni for taking this wonderful picture of Gaby.

Papa & Mama Bear

Once upon a time, there were two little bears...named Marvin and Nildy haha. No, am not posting about fairytales here. Anyways, here's another layout that I did... this time for my younger brother (I'm the eldest of three siblings and the only girl), Marvin and his GF Nildy. Sorry for posting the other picture, which you don't like that much hehe. Thanks to Joni for taking these pictures during Gaby's christening.

Chocolates and strawberries

Here's a layout that I did for my youngest brother Trac and his GF Minette. I just love the effect of combining brown and pink. It looks yummy actually. Reminds me of chocolates and strawberries. Stawberry flavored chocolates, one of my favorites. Well, anyways, to Trac and Minetski, belated happy 2nd year anniversary! Keep the love growing! :)

Faces

This is a layout I made of Gaby's pictures. I have lots of pictures of her, me being a first time mommy and all, and so I had a hard time choosing which ones to put in my layout. And so, I ended up putting several of her pictures all in one layout. Most pictures here were taken when she was about 4 months old. She is just soooo cute! It was also my first time to add journaling to a layout. I didn't know what to write at first and so I just tried to let it come to me hehe, but I do have to say that I'm speaking here from the heart. *grins*

Gaby and Lola

This is a layout of Gaby and her lola (my mom). You should see how my mom dotes on her one and only grand daughter. Does Gaby look like her lola? I beg to differ hehe, but my mom would say otherwise. I'd say Gaby looks more like her mom (me!). The first photo (upper) was taken at Joni and Joanne's wedding while the other one (lower) was taken during Gaby's Christening, both last April 2007.

My first ever digiscrapping layout

This is my first ever attempt at scrapbooking. I am new to the digiscrapping world as well as to the program, Adobe PSCS3 that I am using so I definitely still have loads to learn.

This layout is of Gaby, immediately after I gave birth and some pictures of her while she was still in the NICU. She was so small back then and looked so fragile!
